CCF at BA
The CCF is a voluntary after-school organisation open to students in Year 8 and above (students must be aged 12+).
Students in the CCF are known as Cadets and whilst they undertake military training, the emphasis is on teamwork, leadership, development and enjoyment. The main aim of the CCF is to offer cadets a truly enjoyable and fulfilling experience. The activities are a mix of military and adventurous training. Topics that will be covered are Foot Drill, First Aid, Map Reading, Self-Reliance and Fieldcraft, as well as Adventure Training.
Virtual CCF Lessons
Our CCF students are still participating in CCF lessons virtually.
Training
Mandatory training takes place on Tuesday after school, running from 3:15pm - 4:30pm. Last Tuesday of each term – there will be no cadets.
Throughout the training year there will be training days and ranges. It is proposed that there will be one weekend's training per term and all training is progressive and culminates in a Summer Camp.
