Teacher Training
At Brompton Academy/ Chatham Grammar, trainee teachers and ECTs are challenged and supported to achieve their highest potential. We support our trainees and build them to competently demonstrate professionalism and engage in regular reflective improvements to develop their performance. Through well structured and supportive mentoring, drop-ins, observations and a bespoke ITT/ECT CPD programme, we support staff to refine and share best practice, for the mutual benefit of all.
From our nationally – recognised ITT and ECT offers, through to NPQs, our investment in staff development ensures every member of our team has a pathway to competently meeting the Teacher’s Standards whilst supporting their next aspirations by progression and continued development. We encourage staff to deepen and develop their skills at all stages in their profession with a range of staff having signed up on to the newly reformed NPQ Programmes.
