Contractors site Rules
All contractors and visitors must sign in and out at reception.
All contractors must read these BA site rules and emergency procedures.
By signing the contractors Log Book located at reception, you are agreeing to abide by the rules of the Academy site.
All contractors have a legal obligation to ensure that all works are carried out in a professional manner, if unsafe working practices are observed the contractor may be asked to leave and be refused entry back on to the site at a later date.
No work can commence without notifying the Site Team and signing in the Contractors Log Book.
If routine work is being completed then work can commence immediately.
If access to the roof is required a Permit to Work on the roof must be completed and signed off by the Academy's Site Manager.
If permanent work is to be carried out to the building and/or site structure then a Permit to Work needs to be obtained and signed off by the Site Manager.
If hot works are taking place then a Hot Works Permit must be obtained before any work can be carried out.
If a shut down of services is required then the site team must be notified at least 20 minutes before the shutdown is carried out so that out of service users can be informed.
Brompton Academy is a non-smoking site, all contractors are to refrain from smoking onsite.
