The Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award

The Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award students explored the East Farleigh area during their practise expedition this term. The Silver Award students will be embarking on their assessed expedition in the Ashdown Forest, which takes place at the end of April. Congratulations to the Year 10 students who worked hard in the wet and muddy conditions to complete the practice expedition. Students camped for two nights and walked approximately 30km with their food, tents, and equipment in preparation for their assessed expedition. The students showed resilience and great teamwork to complete the challenge together.
