The Brompton Academy Music department have written a very successful bid with Universal Music Sound Foundation and have secured a grand total of funding for £3,000.
The funding will be divided into the following:
• £1,500 - Updating the recording studio and classroom equipment for more music technology based lessons.
• £1,500 - Free one-to-one instrument lessons for our current Year 10 music students to support and develop their performance techniques as they prepare for their final year.
Our students have benefited immensely from the generous donations over the years and the funding will continue to provide musical tuition and recourses, as well as develop new opportunities and ventures as lockdown eases and live music can be enjoyed again.
