At the end of January 2023, all Year 10 students embarked on their work experience opportunities, which they had either secured themselves or were found placements in a variety of local businesses and services. Placements included a theatre company, schools, colleges, charities, pharmacies, dentists, and architects. Some of the placements also took place in London.
Teachers have already noticed how this experience has given many students a new confidence and an incentive to focus on careers related to the curriculum.
Students that completed their work experience at Glass Box Theatre Company, produced a podcast and Instagram adverts announcing the podcast, that went on to the school’s social media.
