Pyschology

Psychology is an inspiring, rigorous and relevant subject. Students acquire a broad range of subject knowledge and draw on disciplines such as Mathematics, Biology, ICT and English. Students learn how to take risks, becoming resourceful, innovative, competent learners. Through the evaluation of past and present psychological research, they develop a critical understanding of the impact of psychology on daily life and the wider world. 

 The teaching of Psychology aims to aid the student’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural wellbeing by enabling students to engage in discussions about their local community and compare it to others around the world using Psychological research as the starting point for these discussions.
