Our Mini Schools never cease to amaze us with some fun, educational, action packed events such as the very latest and enjoyable whole school Multicultural Day. Activities ran throughout the day, celebrating cultures from across the world, which also made link to the academic curriculum.
Multicultural Curriculum Focus
All students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in different cultures, faiths, and world views during their normal timetabled lessons. Subject departments focused on a topic relating to their area of expertise, with lots of opportunities for student participation. There was a range of work on display which focused on ‘Medway in Focus’, where students were working on this during Personal Tutor time.
Multicultural Fashion Show
During lunchtime, students were entertained with four fashion and dance shows - the atmosphere was amazing with different cultural music adding to the ambience of the event.
