A team of Brompton Academy students were victorious at the recent Kent Schools Table Tennis event held at The Howard school.
The team consisted of Year 7 and Year 8 students who have been training hard every Tuesday under the expert guidance of our Coach, Hurey Ahmetoglu.
The girls team consisted of Betul, Lily, and Robyn who defeated Mascalls Academy to win the Under 13 years category.
Our boys teams also played well, and came up against some very strong schools. All students have developed their table tennis skills hugely over the past two terms. The table tennis programme at Brompton Academy is funded by The Opening Schools Facilities Fund and has enabled the Academy to run weekly sessions every Tuesday. We look forward to entering the next event coming up in 2024.
