Performing Arts - TikTok
The Performing Arts department launched their social media in June, and we have been blown away with the response! We will be using the platforms to share amazing content that is fun and engaging, but ultimately celebrates the amazing talent we have at Brompton Academy… and the PA teams outstanding TikTok skills of course!
Science Department TikTok Success
On the 22nd June the Science department at Brompton Academy posted their first video on TikTok. The department decided to make a TikTok account to increase excitement about Science at the Academy, particularly with the year groups that have had very little experience with practical lessons due to COVID-19 restrictions. Since posting their first video, their account has blown up - with over 3.5 million views and 30,000 followers! Their TikTok videos have tens of thousands of comments from people all over the world, with quite a strong following from accounts in Malaysia and Australia.
Miss Smith said "We never expected it to be this successful and we are excited to continue to post relatable science videos over the summer and into the next academic year".
