This term, the Year 9 Bronze Award students embarked on their practice and assessed expeditions. The expeditions, which took place at Buckmore Park and in Meopham respectively, saw students walking approximately 40km with their food, tents, equipment, as well as camping for two nights. The students truly embraced the spirit of adventure.
The staff that supported the expeditions were very impressed with how self-sufficient the Bronze Award students were and their positive and mature attitudes. The DofE Team are looking forward to guiding the students through the Silver Award next year.
